The R.O.C. Travel Authorization Certificate is a document that was available to 23 countries in the beginning, but new nationalities began to be inserted, and the list might grow in the long run. Unfortunately, Nepalese citizens can't obtain this Travel Authorization however, but it could be a possibility in the future.

If I 'm from Nepal, do I need a visa to go to Taiwan?

Yes, if you're Nepalese, you require a visa to visit with Taiwan. Bear in mind you can receive this document by visiting an embassy, but it could be received by you through an online process in the future.

How long can I live in Taiwan if I'm from Nepal?

You can stay 30 days Total counting from your arrival date in Taiwan.

What is a R.O.C (Travel Occupational Certification )?

The Taiwanese R.O.C (Travel Occupational Certification ) is a document that allows you to go to Taiwan for a brief period. This document you might get in the future, in case you're intending to go to Taiwan.

What documents do I want?

Currently we can not provide you the list of requirements since this document isn't available for Nepalese. Nevertheless, we can offer you a good idea of the documents required based on the other nationalities. This can be considerably useful for you once the R.O.C is available:

  • Valid Passport

  • Proof of accommodation - hotel confirmation or a letter from a host in Taiwan.

  • Invitation letter - business reasons.

  • Bank statement - to demonstrate you can keep yourself during your stay.

  • Return ticket

  • Digital passport-sized photograph

How long is this eVisa valid for?

You can use the Taiwanese R.O.C. to get 90 days (after the issuance of the eVisa.)

What are the processing times and fees?

The price of your R.O.C will vary according to how quickly you want this document. These are your choices:

  • Standard processing (7 Business Days), if you've got a great deal of time prior to your departure, then it is possible to opt for this choice. In terms of the price, you will be billed USD $140.89.

  • Rush processing This option lets you have your own eVisa ready in 5 Business Days, but it costs a bit more (USD $192.89) than the preceding one.

  • Super Rush processing (3 Business Days), if you experience an emergency and you want your R.O.C as quickly as possible, then this can be the best choice for you. We will ship you your Taiwan e-Visa in only 3 Business Days. Remember that this alternative has become the costliest.

How do I apply?
