When you apply for a visa, one of the first things you think about is the requirement. You need to do your homework so that your visa application process goes smoothly. As far as the Ivory Coast visa requirements are concerned, you have nothing to worry about. When you apply with iVisa, the requirements are minimal so that everything is plain sailing for you. After all, the visa application process should not be the most challenging part of your trip.

When you apply online, the only thing you need to actively do, so to speak, is to fill in an online application form. However, before thinking of starting that process, you need to put together a series of documents and information you need to provide for iVisa to get started. Below, you will find a list of everything you need.

  • Passport – all applicants are required to have a passport. More than that, the passport has to maintain its validity for at least another 6 months from the date of arrival in Ivory Coast. At the same time, the passport needs to have at least one blank page. You should have a quick look at its expiry date before thinking of applying.

  • Means on online payment – when you apply online with iVisa, you need to make the payment while you complete the application process. The payment is owed for both the visa itself and the service fee for iVisa. However, iVisa offers you multiple means of payment. You can use a credit or a debit card, but the company also takes PayPal, Alipay, or WeChat. You can choose the one which you find most convenient.

  • E-mail address – one of the best things when you apply online is that your visa is linked electronically to your passport. Nonetheless, you will receive a copy of your pre-approval document via e-mail in PDF format. Do not forget to print out a few copies before your departure. You will need it when you pick up your visa once you arrive in the Ivory Coast.

Once you have all the items on the list above, you can go on and fill in the application form. That should not impose any difficulties. In fact, the process should last about 20 minutes, and if you need some help, iVisa provides support service 24/7. The service is free of charge.

You need to go through three simple steps. The first one is about your general information, and you must also select a processing time. You must remember that the processing time you choose establishes the price of your visa. The faster you want the document, the higher the service fee will be. The second step is about revision and payment, and during the third one, you need to upload the documents iVisa asks of you. Once you are done, you hit submit, and the pre-approval letter will arrive via e-mail in the timeframe you chose during step one.

Another requirement that you must meet is the inoculation for Yellow Fever. This is Africa we are talking about, after all, and outbreaks sometimes happen. As a result, you need to pay a visit to your primary care physician and have the Yellow Fever short. A certificate is required at the border.

Once you receive your pre-approval letter, you need to print it out. Only if you have it, you will be able to pick up your visa at the Port Bouet Airport in Abidjan. The document allows you to stay in the Ivory Coast for up to 30 days, you have a single entry, and it is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.
