Frequently Asked Questions

What is an eVisa?

An eVisa is an official document for traveling. It is linked to your passport electronically.

What do you need to apply?

While the service provided by iVisa could not be simpler, you still need a few things to get started. Here is a list of what you need to provide:

  • Valid passport – a passport for Jordanians is a pretty common document nowadays. Getting one is easy, but if you already have one, make sure that it is valid and remains to be as such for at least another six months from your date of departure.

  • Valid e-mail address – iVisa will send you the Bahrain eVisa through the internet, which means that you need a valid e-mail address. Make sure that you check the spelling. The information must be as accurate as possible, or you cannot receive your visa.

  • Return flight ticket – since the Bahrain eVisa for Jordanians allows you to stay for a maximum of 14 days. The authorities need some proof that you will return to your state until your visa expires. A return flight ticket provides some assurance.

  • Means to financially support yourself – financial means is commonly requested thing at the immigration offices all over the world. You may be required to provide a bank statement or anything else that proves you have the means to support yourself during your trip. That way you cannot be suspected you go to Bahrain for illegal work.

  • Mode of payment – before submitting your application, you will be required to make the payment. You need to pay for your eVisa, as well as for the services provided by iVisa. You can use a credit/debit card.

What are processing time and fees for getting a Bahrain eVisa for Jordanians using iVisa?

The cost of the visa is related to processing time. You can select among three options that iVisa puts at your disposal. However, keep in mind that the faster you want your eVisa, the more you will pay for it. Here is what you can choose:

  • Standard processing – this is the cheapest option you have, but it takes the longest for your application to be processed. Your visa will arrive within 7 days, and you have to pay USD $182.99 for it. Even so, it is a good solution if you like to plan ahead.

  • Rush processing time – this time, the waiting time is cut in half. Your application will be processed within 5 days, but the cost is USD $253.99.

  • Super Rush processing time – if you are really in a rush, you can select for this processing time. It is the fastest option for you. The eVisa for Jordanians will be ready in only 4 days for USD $347.99.

Although delays never happen, you should stay on the safe side and apply for your Bahrain eVisa in advance. For example, if you select the Rush processing time, it is best if you apply 7 days before your departure date. Rest assured that you will be notified of any delay that may happen.

How is the application form through iVisa?

Once you have all the documents mentioned, you are ready to move on to the next step, and that is filling in the application form.

  1. In the first part of the form you must add your personal information. You also need to choose between the 3 processing time options.
